Sigma Eta - New Jersey Dental School

The members of Psi Omega, Sigma Eta Chapter, were involved in several events this past school year and have several more events planned for the upcoming months.

In the fall our members were involved in helping rebuild the city of Newark one home at a time. We volunteered at Habitat for Humanity and helped build a home for one of the deserving members of the Newark community.

In the fall we also raised over $1000 for the Susan B. Koman Foundation, which is an organization that raises money for breast cancer research and awareness. We presented our donations to the foundation at the New York City Race for the Cure breast cancer walk.

In the upcoming months we plan on hosting a Welcome to the Clinic BBQ, in which we would like to welcome the rising juniors into the dental school clinic and help them feel a little more at ease with this very exciting, yet new experience in their lives. As an organization we also plan on attending a New York Yankee’s baseball game in July.
