Spring 2008 Psi
Omega Foundation The Psi Omega Foundation offers member dental students the opportunity to earn $500 for submitting a scientific article, suitable for publication, to the Frater. Several students have already received the award for their articles and more are eligible. Only Psi Omega Fraternity member students are eligible. All articles must be original work, verified by two faculty members. Each article should be a minimum of 2 pages and a maximum of 5 pages. All articles must be print ready (no notes) and may be accompanied by slides, photographs (b&w or color) or graphs. Articles will be reviewed by officers of the Foundation and will be judged on educational and scientific content, as well as publishing quality. Articles may be from table clinic presentations if they are converted to a format suitable for printing. Articles should be sent to the Central Office. For further information, please contact Emily at the Central Office. Articles can be sent at any time, but the publication deadline for the next issue of the Frater is June 15, 2006. Priority will be given to articles featuring clinical reports or innovative techniques. The top articles chosen will appear in future issues of the Frater and each will be awarded $500. No articles or accompanying photos can be returned to the author. Also, the article must show the actual results. Psi Omega Fraternity reserves the right to publish all submitted articles. |
