Another school year is over and the Upsilon Chapter at the University of Southern California would like to congratulate all the new Psi Omega dentists all across the country. Since the beginning of the year, the Upsilon chapter has had a lot of exciting events. Not only did we have our annual Mammoth Mountain ski trip and our Sushi/Sake night, but we recently had the honor of attending a dinner at the house of the Clinical Dean of the USC School of Dentistry.

The annual Mammoth mountain ski trip is one of the most anticipated events of the year. This year, we had almost 50 members in 2 large cabins and 4 condos for an exciting weekend of skiing and fun. During the day, Mammoth Mountain is one of the biggest and best mountains on the west coast. The snow is some of the best around and our ski in-ski out lodging made full use of the snow. At night, the cabins became the center of the action with everyone eating dinner together and then partying late into the night. With all the fun that weekend, only 10 stitches were needed.

The Sushi/Sake night is another one of our great events. We transform our living room into a sushi restaurant complete with authentic tables, utensils and mood lighting. The sushi is catered from a local Japanese restaurant and the sake is warmed to the perfect temperature. It is always a memorable event as everyone always has a great time getting dressed up and sitting around a huge table with a lot of other Psi O members eating great sushi and bombing sake.

In May of this year, the residents of the Upsilon Psi Omega house had a very special event. We had a chance to have dinner at the house of Dr. Mike Mulvehill who is the Dean of Clinical Affairs at the USC School of Dentistry. The night included dinner, some very exciting entertainment provided by the dean and discovering some hidden talents of our roommates.

Lastly, with another exciting season of USC football upon us in a few short months, Psi Omega Upsilon would like to invite any member of Psi Omega to one of our famous tailgates during all home USC Football games.
