From the Central Office Everything is quiet, but busy, at the Central Office. We are happy to announce that a new Psi Omega Chapter will be officially established at UMDNJ, Friday, September 30, 2005. The chapter starts off with 24 new members. The official name of the chapter will be announced. We had another successful year in getting senior certificates out in a timely manner. To all those who are responsible for sending us your 2005 senior graduates and award recipients, our hats off to you! Speaking of senior graduates, congratulations to the Class of 2005! We hope your profession in dentistry will be a great experience. Remember to update your address at the Central Office so we can keep our records current. Dr. Werner Seibel is our new Province 5 Councilor, as of July 1, 2005. Dr. Seibel has been the Deputy Councilor for the Alpha Chapter at the University of Maryland since 1999 and has been a true asset to the chapter. We are happy to have him on board! Also, we would like to thank Dr. Jim Butler, Past Province 5 Councilor. Dr. Butler has put forth a tremendous amount of effort and time for the local chapter, Gamma Omicron at WVU, as well as to Psi Omega on a national level. Our thanks goes out to all of our Deputy Councilors! The National Council of Psi Omega will be meeting in conjunction with the ADA Convention in Philadelphia, PA.
