Election of Officers
This traditionally occurs in April right before our Annual Senior Banquet. Dr. Kay Mash hosts the elections at her home in Dallas.Nominations are taken for each position, nominations are seconded and a majority vote decides between the candidates. After the elections, the new president is given the floor for comment and presides over the remainder of the meeting.

Awards
Senior awards are presented at The Annual Senior Banquet which is usually held at Maggianos in Dallas. Last year, it was held at The Blue Mesa Grill, Dallas TX.

During this evening, each senior receives a plaque to commemorate their membership and service in Psi Omega. Traditionally, we have not presented the PHT awards.

Initiations
Initiations are held first thing in the fall at the Deputy Councilor's home. Dr. Gary Coleman and his wife, an amazing cook I must add, traditionally make dinner and host the event.This day is an informal soirée allowing our newly elected officers the chance to congregate and hold the first meeting of the semester. Simultaneously, it is a day of welcoming the newest members to the fraternity and filling out paper work.

Fundraising
Our major fundraiser is scrubs. The sale of scrubs is overseen by our 2 Scrub Chairs, Annie Wilson & Jamie Burton,who are vital to our fraternity. We are the only school organization permitted to sell Official Baylor Scrubs, a tradition heavily guarded by the fraternity and protected by the Director of Student Affairs.Recently in March of 2007, I got light weight safety glasses approved for sale. Their sale will add an excellent boost to our profitability.
